# The Police Grant (Scotland) Order 1997, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 11th March 1997
Coming into force 1st April 1997
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 32(1) of the Police (Scotland) Act 1967, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and with the approval of the Treasury, hereby makes the following Order:
