Article 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

This Order may be cited as the Police Grant (Scotland) Order 2007 and shall come into force on 1st April 2007.

(2)

In this Order–

  • “authority” means a police authority (not being a constituent authority) or a joint police board;

  • “financial year 2007–2008” means the period of 12 months commencing on 1st April 2007; and

  • “police grant” means the grant made under section 32(1) of the Police (Scotland) Act 1967.
