# The Police Grant (Variation) (Scotland) Order 2012, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order varies the Police Grant and Variation (Scotland) Order 2012 for the financial year 2012-2013 to include additional funds of 2.5%. Each police grant in the annual Police Grant Order includes a 2.5% sum in respect of the antecedent financial year. Due to police reform, the 2.5% sum that would otherwise have been included in the next financial year’s Police Grant Order is being paid this year and this Order varies the current financial year grants accordingly.
