# Police (Northern Ireland) Act 1998, Section 76: Extent.


(1) Except as provided by subsections (2) and (3), this Act extends to Northern Ireland only.
(2) Paragraph 8 of Schedule 3 extends throughout the United Kingdom.
(3) The amendment or repeal by this Act of any provision of—
(a) the Police (Overseas Service) Act 1945;
(b) the Police (Scotland) Act 1967;
(c) the House of Commons Disqualification Act 1975;
(d) the Northern Ireland Assembly Disqualification Act 1975;
(e) the Ministry of Defence Police Act 1987;
(f) the Official Secrets Act 1989;
(g) the Police Act 1996;
(h) the Police Act 1997,
has the same extent as that provision.
