In regulation 6 (application of Regulations)—

(a)

in paragraph (2)—

(i)

in sub-paragraph (a), at the end, insert “and”;

(ii)

omit sub-paragraph (b);

(b)

in paragraph (4)—

(i)

in sub-paragraph (b), omit “and”;

(ii)

in sub-paragraph (c), at the end, insert “and”;

(iii)

after sub-paragraph (c) insert—

“(d)

his election shall otherwise be cancelled in accordance with regulation 9(6), and he shall then become eligible for awards to be payable to or in respect of him under these Regulations, subject to paragraph 9 of Schedule 2.”.
