  "text": "(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Police Pensions (Amendment) Regulations 2003.\n(2) These Regulations come into force on 10th February 2003, but—\n(a) the amendment made by paragraph 3(1) of Schedule 1 (reckoning of pensionable service in maternity leave) has effect in accordance with paragraph 3(2) of that Schedule,\n(b) paragraphs 1(a) and (c), 2 and 3 of Schedule 2 have effect from 1st December 2002, and\n(c) paragraph 6(b) of that Schedule has effect from 1st November 1999.\n(3) These Regulations extend to England and Wales only.",
