  "heading": "Citation, commencement and extent",
  "text": "(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Police Pensions (Amendment) Regulations 2004.\n(2) These Regulations shall come into force on 1st July 2004 but—\n(a) the amendments made by Part 1 of the Schedule shall have effect from 10th November 2003;\n(b) the amendments made by paragraphs 8, 9, 11 and 12 of Part 2 of the Schedule shall have effect from 1st April 2003;\n(c) the amendments made by Part 3 of the Schedule shall have effect from 1st April 2002; and\n(d) the amendment made by paragraph 14(1) in Part 4 of the Schedule has effect in accordance with paragraph 14(2) of the Schedule.\n(3) These Regulations extend to England and Wales only.",
