# The Police Pensions (Amendment) (Scotland) Regulations 2008, Introduction: Introductory text

Made 24th November 2008
Laid before the Scottish Parliament 26th November 2008
Coming into force 19th December 2008
The Scottish Ministers make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 1 of the Police Pensions Act 1976, and of all other powers enabling them to do so.
In accordance with section 1(1) of that Act they have consulted with the Police Negotiating Board for the United Kingdom.
