Regulation 27 Police officer’s ordinary pension

This regulation applies to a regular police officer who fulfils the qualifying service criterion and who retires or has retired in accordance with regulation 18, 19 or 20:

Provided that this regulation shall not apply to a regular police officer who has made an election under regulation 9 which had effect at the time of his retirement.

Subject to the provisions of these Regulations, a regular police officer to whom this regulation applies shall be entitled to an ordinary pension of an amount calculated in accordance with regulation 28.
