# The Police Pensions Regulations 2015, Regulation 33: Pensionable earnings

(2) A member’s pensionable earnings for any period means pay to which the member is entitled in that period, account being taken of any retrospective increase in that pay.
(3) For a person in service as a member of a home police force, the ...pay to which the member is entitled is the ... pay to which the member is entitled as such a member.
(4) For a person in service as a member of a police force in England and Wales other than a home police force, the ... pay to which the member is entitled is the ... pay to which the member is entitled under the member's terms and conditions of employment.
