# The Police Pensions Regulations 2015, Paragraph 38: Refund of contributions under the existing police pension scheme


If a transition member with continuity of service (T) opts out of this scheme and T has less than 2 years' qualifying service, T must be refunded all member contributions under the existing police pension scheme.
