  "heading": "Meaning of “active member” of the 1987 scheme or the equivalent NI police pension scheme",
  "text": "(1) This paragraph applies in relation to—\n(a) the 1987 scheme; and\n(b) the 1988 NI police pension scheme.\n(2) For the purpose of this Schedule, a transition member (T) is an active member of a scheme mentioned in sub-paragraph (1) on a given date if on that date T is in pensionable service under that scheme.",
