# The Police Pensions (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2000, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before the Scottish Parliament 16th June 2000
Coming into force 8th July 2000
The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 1 of the Police Pensions Act 1976, after consultation with the Police Negotiating Board for the United Kingdom, hereby make the following Regulations:
