# The Police Pensions (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2003, Regulation 1: Citation, commencement and extent


(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Police Pensions (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2003 and shall come into force on 1st October 2003, except that–
(a) the amendment made by paragraph 5 of Schedule 1 has effect in relation to any period of maternity leave falling on or after 15th December 1999;
(b) paragraphs 1(a) and (c), 2 and 3 of Schedule 2 have effect from 1st December 2002; and
(c) paragraph 6(b) of Schedule 2 has effect from 1st November 1999.
(2) These Regulations extend to Scotland only.
