The Regulations make provision for policemen and former policemen who have been unable to reckon their war service for pension purposes under the 1979 Regulations solely because they have transferred between the police pension scheme and other pension schemes of the kinds referred to in Regulation 3 of and Schedule 2 to these Regulations.",
