# The Police (Performance) Regulations 2020, Regulation 11: Suspension of certain periods

Extent: E+W

(1) Any reference in these Regulations to a period mentioned in paragraph (2) does not include any time when the officer concerned is taking a career break determined under regulation 33(12) of the Police Regulations 2003 (leave).
(2) A period is—
(a) a period specified in accordance with regulation 17(6A);
(b) the validity period of a written improvement notice specified in regulation 18(4) or 46(7)(d);

(d) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
(e) a period specified in accordance with regulation 46(7A) or (8)(a)(i);
