# The Police (Promotion) (Amendment) Regulations 1991, Regulation 1: Citation, commencement and interpretation


(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Police (Promotion) (Amendment) Regulations 1991 and shall come into force on 1st October 1991.
(2) In these Regulations “the principal Regulations” means the Police (Promotion) Regulations 1979 and “the Schedule” means the Schedule to those Regulations.
