# The Police (Promotion) (Amendment) Regulations 2005, Regulation 3: Amendment of the Police (Promotion) Regulations 1996


In regulation 5 (period of probation for constable promoted to sergeant), after paragraph (2) insert the following paragraph–
“(3) This regulation shall not apply to a person who is completing the work-based assessment under Part IIB of the qualifying assessment.”
