# The Police Reform Act 2002 (Commencement No. 1) Order 2002, Article 3


The following provisions of the 2002 Act shall come into force on 1st October 2002 in England only—
(a) section 97(1), (3), (4), (7) and (9) (crime and disorder reduction partnerships); and
(b) section 98 (Secretary of State’s role in relation to strategies).
