  "text": "The Secretary of State may pay to the Office—\n(a) sums equal to any amounts paid or falling to be paid by it under any provision of this Act (other than paragraph 15); and\n(b) such other sums as appear to him to be appropriate for enabling it to meet the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the carrying out of its or the Director General's functions.",
