# The Police Regulations 1995, Paragraph 10


In regulation 34 (annual leave)—
(a) in paragraph (1) after the words “Schedule 4”insert “, except that in the case of a member above the rank of chief inspector any period of leave calculated in accordance with Schedule 4 is to be multiplied by the appropriate factor”; and
(b) after paragraph (1) insert—
“(1) In the case of a member below the rank of superintendent, each day of annual aleave granted counts for the purposes of regulation 39(1) (pay) as a period of duty of 8 hours multiplied by the appropriate factor.”.
