Regulation 7 Detective duty and detective expenses allowances

there shall be inserted after paragraph (2) the following paragraph:—

“(2A)

Such a constable of the rank of superintendent shall be paid in addition a detective expenses allowance at the rate of £5 a week; and shall not be eligible for the reimbursement of expenses incurred in the execution of his duty in respect of any individual item of expenditure of £1.25p or less.”; and

in paragraph (3) for “£1 a week” there shall be substituted “£3 a week; and shall not be eligible for the reimbursement of expenses incurred in the execution of his duty in respect of any individual item of expenditure of 75 pence or less.”.
