  "long_title": "These Regulations further amend the Police (Scotland) Regulations 1976 (“the principal Regulations”). They come into force on 31st August 1994 but have effect for the purposes of regulation 5(a) and (b) as from 1st April 1993, regulations 6 and 7 as from 1st September 1993 and regulation 5(c) as from 1st April 1994. Retrospection is authorised by section 26(3) of the Police (Scotland) Act 1967.",
