  "text": "(1) The Firearms Act 1968 is amended in accordance with subsections (2) and (3).\n(2) In section 5 (weapons subject to general prohibition), in subsection (1A), for paragraph (f) substitute—\n“(f) any ammunition which is designed to be used with a pistol and incorporates a missile designed or adapted to expand on impact;”.\n(3) In section 5A (exemptions from requirement of authority under section 5), in subsection (8)(a), after “which”, in the first place it occurs, insert “ is designed to be used with a pistol and ”.\n(4) In consequence of the amendment made by subsection (2), omit section 9 of the Firearms (Amendment) Act 1997.",
