# The Policing Plan (Amendment) Regulations 2010, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 17th March 2010
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 6ZB(5) of the Police Act 1996, makes the following Regulations.
In accordance with section 6ZB(8) of that Act the Secretary of State has consulted with the Association of Police Authorities, the Association of Chief Police Officers and such persons as he thought fit.
