# The Policing Plan (Amendment) Regulations 2010, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations amend the Policing Plan Regulations 2008 (S.I. 2008/312) which supplement the provisions in section 6ZB of the Police Act 1996 on policing plans by police authorities. In particular these Regulations provide that a policing plan shall contain a Value for Money Statement, setting out certain information about the measures a police authority proposes to take to increase the efficiency and productivity of the police force for its area.
