  "text": "Non obstantes void.\nAnd be it further enacted by the Authority aforesaid That no Letters Patents granted by the King and Queens Majesties or any of their Royal Progenitors or to be granted by their Majesties to any Person or Persons Cities Boroughs or Townes Corporate within this Realme of any manner of Liberties Priveledges or Exemptions from Subsidies Tolls Taxes Assessments or Aids shall be construed or taken to exempt any Person or Persons Citie Borough or Towne Corporate or any the Inhabitants of the same from the Burthen or Charge of any Su[m]m or Su[m]ms of money granted by this Act and all Non obstante's in such Letters Patents for any such Purpose or Intent are hereby declared to be void and of none effect.",
