# The Pollution Prevention and Control (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2003, Regulation 4: Amendment of the Regulations


In regulation 6 (requirement for permit to operate installation and mobile plant), for paragraph (2) there is substituted–
“(2) In paragraph (1) the “ prescribed date” means in respect of any installation or mobile plant–
(a) referred to in Table 1 in paragraph 2 of Part 1 of Schedule 3, the date set out or determined in accordance with paragraphs and 2 of Part 1 of Schedule 3;
(b) referred to in Table 2 in paragraph 2 of Part 1 of Schedule 3, and licensed under Part I of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 on 1st April 2003, the date set out or determined in accordance with paragraphs 1A and 2 of Part 1 of Schedule 3; and
(c) referred to in Part 2 of Schedule 3, the date set out or determined in accordance with that Part.”.
