# The Port Security Regulations 2009, Paragraph 3: Duties of Port Security Authority members


Each member of a Port Security Authority and, where a member of a Port Security Authority is acting as a representative of the owner or operator of a port facility, an AMSA facility or a port related area, or as a representative of any other person who has an interest in the security at a port, the person which the Port Security Authority member is representing, shall have a duty to ensure that the functions of the Port Security Authority under these Regulations are carried out.
