# The Postal Services Act 2000 (Consequential Modifications No. 1) Order 2001, Paragraph 117: Planning (Hazardous Substances)(Scotland) Act 1997

In section 38(5) of the Planning (Hazardous Substances)(Scotland) Act 1997 (interpretation) for the words “the Post Office” are substituted the words “a universal service provider (within the meaning of the Postal Services Act 2000) in connection with the provision of a universal postal service (within the meaning of that Act)”.
