# The Postal Services Act 2000 (Consequential Modifications to Local Enactments No. 1) Order 2001, Paragraph 9


In section 2 of the West Midlands County Council Act 1980 (interpretation) in subsection (1) in the definition of “statutory undertakers” for the words “the Post Office” are substituted the words “a universal service provider (within the meaning of the Postal Services Act 2000) in connection with the provision of a universal postal service (within the meaning of that Act)”.
