  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations, which extend to Scotland only, implement Commission Decision 2000/568/EC amending Decision 96/301/EC authorising member States temporarily to take emergency measures against the dissemination ofPseudomonas solanacearum (Smith) Smith as regards Egypt (O.J. No. L 238, 22.9.2000, p.59).\nThe Regulations amend the definition of “the Decision” in the Potatoes Originating in Egypt Regulations 1998 (regulation 2(2)). Commission Decision 2000/568/EC renews the framework within which potatoes may be imported from Egypt into the territory of the European Community.\nNo regulatory appraisal has been prepared in respect of these Regulations.",
