  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations, which apply to Wales only and come into force on 1st July 2001, implement Commission Decision 2000/568/EC amending Decision 96/301/EC authorising member States temporarily to take emergency measures against the dissemination of Pseudomonas solanacearum (Smith) Smith as regards Egypt (OJ No. L238, 22.9.2000, p.59).\nThe Regulations amend the definition of “the Decision” in the Potatoes Originating in Egypt Regulations 1998 (regulation 2(2)). Commission Decision 2000/568/EC renews the framework within which potatoes may be imported from Egypt into the territory of the European Community.\nNo regulatory appraisal has been prepared in respect of these Regulations.",
