# The Preesall Underground Gas Storage Facility Order 2015, Paragraph 32: Licence conditions during construction of the licensed works

Extent: E+W

The licence holder shall in the course of construction of the licensed works, unless otherwise agreed in writing with the MMO, ensure that a soft-start procedure is used, whereby pile power is incrementally increased over a time period of not less than twenty minutes until full operational power is achieved. In the event that piling ceases for a period greater than ten minutes, the soft-start procedure shall be repeated.
