# The Prescribed Objects for Intimate Piercing (Wales) Regulations 2019, Introduction: Introductory text

The Welsh Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 94(1) and 123(1) of the Public Health (Wales) Act 2017, make the following Regulations.
In accordance with section 123(2)(b) of that Act, a draft of these Regulations has been laid before, and approved by resolution of, the National Assembly for Wales.
