# The Pressure Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016, Paragraph 4: Interpretation


In this Schedule, “non-compliance” means that pressure equipment—
(a) presents a risk; or
(b) is not in conformity with the requirements of these Regulations or RAMS (in its application to pressure equipment or assemblies).
