# The Price Marking (Petrol) (Amendment) Order 1988, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 22nd December 1988
Coming into force 23rd January 1989
The Secretary of State, after consulting in accordance with subsection (3) of section 4 of the Prices Act 1974 with the organisations therein referred to, in exercise of his powers under the said section 4 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:—
