# The Primary Care Trusts (Establishment) Amendment Order 2004, Introduction: Introductory text


This Statutory Instrument has been made to correct errors in certain Statutory Instruments which establish Primary Care Trusts and which are listed in column 1 of the Schedule and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of those Statutory Instruments.

The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 16A(1) and (2) and 126(3) of the National Health Service Act 1977 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
