# The Primary Ophthalmic Services Amendment, Transitional and Consequential Provisions Regulations 2008, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 1st August 2008
The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 16CD, 28WE and 28X(2A) of the National Health Service Act 1977 and sections 43 and 79(3) of the Health Act 2006.
