  "text": "(This note is not part of the Rules)\nThese Rules amend the Prison Rules 1964 (“the 1964 Rules”), as amended.\nRule 2 of these rules introduces the Schedule, which sets out the amendments to the 1964 Rules.\nThe amendments in the Schedule make changes to the 1964 Rules to allow for the functions of a medical officer within a prison to be carried out by another medical practitioner under the general supervision of the medical officer.",
