(1)

Rule 26 (Hygiene) shall be amended as follows.

In paragraph (2), after the words “medical officer” the first time that they appear, there shall be inserted “or a medical practitioner such as is mentioned in rule 17(3)” and the words “except where the medical officer directs this to be done for the sake of health or cleanliness” shall be omitted.

In paragraph (3), after the words “medical officer” there shall be inserted “or a medical practitioner such as is mentioned in rule 17(3)”.
