Article 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

These Rules may be cited as the Prisons and Young Offenders Institutions (Scotland) Amendment Rules 1997 and shall come into force on 10th September 1997.

In these Rules, “the principal Rules” means the Prisons and Young Offenders Institutions (Scotland) Rules 1994^f1.
