Article 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

These Rules may be cited as the Prisons and Young Offenders Institutions (Scotland) Amendment Rules 1998.

These Rules shall come into force on 31st July 1998.

In these Rules, a reference to “the principal Rules” is a reference to the Prisons and Young Offenders Institutions (Scotland) Rules 1994f1.
