# The Prisons and Young Offenders Institutions (Scotland) Amendment Rules 1998, Article 13: Substitution of rule 25 of the principal Rules


For rule 25 of the principal Rules (general duty of the medical officer to attend prisoners) there is substituted the following rule:–
“General duty of medical officers to attend prisoners
25 A medical officer shall attend prisoners who complain of illness at such times, and with such frequency, as he judges necessary in the circumstances.”.
