# The Prisons and Young Offenders Institutions (Scotland) Amendment Rules 1998, Article 14: Substitution of rule 26 of the principal rules


For rule 26 of the principal Rules (notification to the medical officer of prisoners requiring attention) there is substituted the following rule:–
“Notification to a medical officer of prisoners requiring attention
26 The Governor shall, without delay, bring to the attention of a medical officer any prisoner whose physical or mental condition appears to require his attention.”.
