# The Prisons and Young Offenders Institutions (Scotland) Amendment Rules 1998, Article 5: Amendment of rule 10 of the principal Rules


(1) Rule 10 of the principal Rules (registration and records of prisoners) is amended in accordance with paragraph (2) of this rule.
(2) After paragraph (6) there is inserted the following paragraph:–
“(6A) Where fingerprints are taken in accordance with paragraph (4) or (5), an officer shall require the prisoner to sign a fingerprint form relating to his prints at that time.”.
