Article 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

These Rules may be cited as the Prisons and Young Offenders Institutions (Scotland) Amendment Rules 2007 and, subject to paragraph (2), shall come into force on 1st April 2007.

Rule 6(b) shall come into force on 28th May 2007.

In these Rules, a reference to “the principal Rules” is a reference to the Prisons and Young Offenders Institutions (Scotland) Rules 2006^f1.
