The following provisions of the 2001 Act shall come into force on 1st January 2003:

(a)

section 1(6) (Security Industry Authority) in so far as necessary for the purposes of paragraphs (c) and (d) below;

(b)

section 25 (interpretation);

(c)

paragraphs 1 to 3 of Schedule 1; and

(d)

paragraph 6(1)(a) and (2) of Schedule 1.
