Article 4

The following provisions of the 2001 Act shall come into force on 1st April 2003 for the purpose of making regulations or orders:

(a)

section 3(3) (conduct prohibited without a licence);

(b)

section 4(1), (2) and (3) (exemptions from licensing requirement);

(c)

section 8(2), (5), (7) and (8) (licences to engage in licensable conduct);

(d)

section 9(1), (2) and (3) (licence conditions);

(e)

section 13(5) and (6) (licensing at local authority level);

(f)

section 15(2)(f)(ii), (3)(a) and (b), (4) and (8) (arrangements for the grant of approvals);

(g)

section 17(1) and (5) (imposition of requirements for approval);

(h)

paragraph 1 of Schedule 2; and

(i)

paragraph 7 of Schedule 2.
