# The Private Security Industry Act 2001 (Commencement No. 7) Order 2004, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order brings section 5 of the Private Security Industry Act 2001 into force on 13th December 2004 in the Northamptonshire police area. Section 5 creates the offence of using an unlicensed security operative.
